    Why do I still get cavities even though I brush and floss?

    Because brushing and flossing are only part of the equation. Cavities develop when your enamel loses mineral faster than your mouth can put it back. Acid exposure, dry mouth, acidic saliva and your natural enamel structure can all tip that balance toward mineral loss.

    Brushing helps remove plaque. DentMD™ is designed for the part brushing doesn't directly address: replenishing lost mineral and reinforcing weakened enamel between visits.

    Does remineralization actually work, or is it just marketing?

    Remineralization is a real process that happens naturally in your mouth. Enamel is constantly losing and regaining minerals.

    DentMD™ uses concentrated nano-hydroxyapatite — the same calcium-phosphate mineral enamel is largely made from — to help deposit mineral into microscopic cracks, pores and weakened areas where mineral has been lost.

    The important distinction is timing: early weakened enamel can be remineralized. A tooth that has already developed a true hole is different.

    Can DentMD™ reverse a cavity that's already a hole?

    No — and we don't want to pretend otherwise.

    Once decay has broken through the enamel and formed a true cavity, that physical hole requires professional dental treatment. DentMD™ is designed for the earlier window — helping remineralize, strengthen and protect weakened enamel before it reaches that point.

    How is DentMD™ different from hydroxyapatite toothpaste?

    Most hydroxyapatite products are toothpastes: you brush with them and then rinse them away.

    DentMD™ is a 30% nano-hydroxyapatite leave-on serum paired with theobromine, nano-silver and trace minerals. Nano-hydroxyapatite helps replenish mineral, theobromine supports enamel hardening, nano-silver addresses acid-producing bacteria, and trace minerals provide additional mineral support.

    And because you don't rinse immediately, the formula stays against the enamel longer than a normal brush-and-rinse product.

    Is DentMD™ supposed to replace fluoride?

    No. DentMD™ isn't positioned as a fluoride substitute or as a replacement for advice your dentist has given you.

    It's a fluoride-free approach built around a different mechanism: supplying the enamel's own mineral with nano-hydroxyapatite and trace minerals, supporting crystal hardening with theobromine, and addressing acid-producing bacteria with nano-silver.

    Is nano-hydroxyapatite okay to use every day?

    DentMD™ is formulated specifically for twice-daily leave-on use and clearly discloses its 30% nano-hydroxyapatite concentration.

    We know 'nano' is something some customers actively have questions about, so we don't think that concern should be brushed aside. If you have a specific dental condition or individual concern about nano-hydroxyapatite, speak with your dentist before adding it to your routine.

    Why do I leave DentMD™ on instead of rinsing it away?

    Contact time is one of the main reasons DentMD™ is a serum rather than another toothpaste.

    After brushing the serum across your teeth, you spit out the excess but don't rinse immediately. That allows the active ingredients to remain against the enamel longer instead of washing them away as soon as you finish brushing.

    How do I use it, and how long does one bottle last?

    Shake well first. Apply 1 mL — one full dropper — morning and evening directly onto your teeth. Brush the serum gently across the teeth for about 2 minutes, with or without toothpaste. Spit out the excess and don't rinse immediately.

    That's 2 mL per day, so one 60 mL bottle provides a 30-day supply.
